    Ravenheat boiler

    I am working on a ravenheat combi. CSI 85T. The diverter valve needs a new diaphragm. The valve is also leaking from the primary water side. will a service kit fix the the primary side?

    Plastic pipe

    I Always use polypipe fittings when not using copper. i prefer it because it has 16 teeth and can be used with copper as well (if needed). I used to use equator but never like demounting the fittings. I'm just really asking what other fittings are as good as or better than polypipe fittings...

    heat sink radiator

    hi,i have an oil fired noble overheating the immersion tank i have fitted a heat sink rad in the bathroom which is about 15ft away from boiler .is this to far away for convection to work as it will not heat up.i tee'd into the system by the immersion ,would it work better nearer to boiler

    slim line shower tray onto floorboards

    Can anyone tell me the ideal way to secure a slimline shower tray to floorboards in a new upstairs bathroom? my thoughts were: -silicon, with small spacers to achieve level -gripafix -pink thistle plaster but i'm not sure which would be most effective; and correct? any ideas?

    outside soil vent near flue outlet

    I am running a 4" soil pipe up a wall with no windows to open vent. There is a flue outlet on the same wall near to where i want to run the pipe. Is there any building regs reguarding the distance you have to keep the soil pipe and open vent away from the flue outlet? I wouldn't have thought...
