Gooday all and a very happy bank holiday to you! This is my first post on a forum before, so here goes.

I've been plumbing and fitting pipe in commercial heating environments for a few years now but my knowledge in the sanitary and waste water arena is limited, perhaps somebody could help me on this one?

A friend of mine would like to move a washing machine into a cupboard just off of the hallway, freeing up space in the kitchen. The boiler's sited in the same cupboard so I've got cold mains there already. I was hoping to core a hole through the wall to run the 1"1/2 waste from the upstand trap to the adjacent bathroom. I'm considering removing the existing pan connector and putting in a connector with a boss as the toilets right there and seems to lend itself perfectly!?!

Is this an acceptable practice, and are there any potential problems in doing so? If not, the job could become a right ball ache! 🙄

no problem you can purchase a pan connector with boss incorperated, how far is the washing machine to wc,do not forget to fit trap
