15 or 22 ml

iam thinking of changing to a combi boiler but only have 15m pipe to the boiler and it is real hassle to put in a 22mm can i use a 15mm ? ,pipe is about 30 feet away, what are the down sides

As above, law states that only gas registered engineers should touch a boiler. But if you are adiment in doing it yourself always follow Manufacturers instructions, these are superficial to any law or regulation.

Regulations state that Manufacturer instructions over rule most regulations, but this is why you must be gas safe registered as some regulations are law and some are guidelines, you really need to know what you are doing. if you forget a safety device you could put your and others life at risk.

Bit like a jigsaw, put everything in right places and you will have a lovely picture, put it in the wrong places and you will end up pulling your hair out. only difference is if you put it in the wrong place you will be dead.

Are you gas safe registered? only ask as you are senior member.
