18kw System Boiler to Replace Conventional Boiler

What work would be involved in adapting my open vent system to put a system boiler in?I have been advised to do this as most heat only boilers are not much good.
I am not replacing the existing cylinder
What boiler would you recommend?

what type of open vented system is it? gravity, fully pumped . and what type of controls do you have?

It is a fully pumped system no room stat,Rads all trv,programmer controlled,open vented system

fit a heat only boiler (open vent ) if in doubt of leaks under wood floors ! I recommend open vent boiler

I'd imagine you'd have plenty businesses around your place that'd better advise you free of charge .... 🙂

For minimal disruption you're looking at an open system heat only boiler. Straight swap potentially apart from condensate.

System boiler will mean wiring and pipework alterations, position of feed and vent, sealed system etc.

I'd get a cupl of quotes as already mentioned 🙂
