P

Pipe Bend

Hi Plumbing People ,

I'm looking for some sound advice from you knowledgable people regards the following :-

We are preparing to upgrade the kitchen in a 70's built bungalow.

Opened the kitchen unit door to check out the sink plumbing and waste and found - attached photo.

Waste pipe - from the sink just sticks into a 6" open hole in the floor .

Looks like the top of a black plastic fitment -but it don't seem to be a 110mm as it's 130mm width inside the opening & 147mm accross the top .

There's also no rubber retaining ring -just a gap where I assume it perhaps should be .

Then with what looks like a " dropped into the hole " internal rubber reducer with the sink pipe stuck into it.

So - it's not quite up to standard.

I would be looking to fit a 110 pipe boss with waste soil / access points - but is what we see the top of a 160mm pipe fitment or if not what is it ?

Any Idea's would be most apprecaited.
