can anyone tell me if it's true you will need a minimum of the 6089 from 2010 to work on site and will it cover private work ? as this is a rumour i have heard. if private work is covered how can this be policed?

Yes this is true you need an nvq in each specific field to work onsite ......that is if any construction company has any work onsite!

ime time served, originally from spain, always on various sites mainly public sector stuff. never been asked to show my 6089 (that i dont have)

where this rule is from i dont know, but it hasnt affected me personally (yet)
