Hi everyone

I have a question about soil stack ventilation and using an aav.

Due to the roof leaking where the soil stack pipe exits on my bungalow I am considering terminating the stack in the roof space and using an aav (then the hole in the roof can be tiled and there can be no more leaks). The bungalow has only one toilet and hence this will leave it with no external vent but neighbouring properties have them. None of the greywater pipes are connected to the stack.
Is this ok?

Fix the roof and seal.

AAV are last resort options and not very good.
