Achilles Tendon Problems!

Hi all,

I'm off to see the doc next week about stiffness in my Achilles tendons and I was wondering if any of you have suffered from the same thing. I think it could be down to me kneeling on the floor which is a plumber's default position for working low down. When I get up in the morning my tendons are very stiff and if I go into town for any reason they hurt after about 10 minutes walking.

If any of you can shed any light on this or suggest - legitimate! - cures, I'd be very grateful.
