Found some info today, bartol is a 3/8 plastic pipe and was used in the 70s when apparently there was a shortage of pipe. The supplier I was talking to say they only do a 'Straight comp fitting, 3/8 to 15mm. Loads of council houses were build with them they say.The system was called Bartol Acorn. It is the same OD but thicker walled and requires different support sleeves. Hepworth (Hep2O) do conversions.
