Hi, I've just moved into a new apartment and it doesn't have a shower. It does have a bath, but I can't install a shower above it because of a low sloping roof.

There is just enough room to have a separate tray style shower unit in the bathroom, but my question is about plumbing the shower in. I believe the bath receives water from a gravity-fed storage heater, so what would be the best plan for putting a shower in?

If I bought a power shower and connected it to the bath supply, would this work? Or would I need some kind of pressure pump coming straight off the bath supply first? Apologies for the lack of plumbing knowledge, but the forum did say for both professionals and DIY plumbers, and I'm looking for a project!

Many thanks,

if your mains cold water arriving at bath tap has suffeicent pressure then take a feed from there and fit electric, if not a small pump under your bath and panel will do you ok.
