Hello everyone im not sure where i stand. I went and advised a customer that it looks like the PRD has failed on their shower and if they ordered a replacment part i would come and fit it.
I did my tec 2 certificate at college and am about to have my NVQ 2 signed off. In all honesty the replacment looks very easy im just worried that im legally not allowed to complete this Job. Am i allowed to do this as its not a new installation its just a like for like swap ???

Any advice ?

Cheers peeps

you are allowed to change an electric shower like for like.

if you dont have enough knowledge to know if the cable size is correct, the protective device is suitable, the double pole isolator works then id leave it to a sparks.
