What is the correct sequence of connecting water up to boiler after it has been off and drained

Check all drain-offs are shut & air vents closed before re-filling!, depends what type of system you have also, is it a sealed system with pressure gauge or a tank fed system?

it is a worcester 24cdi connected as a open vent system

Tank fed CDi, the system will fill once you turn the cold mains back on so make sure all your rad bleeds are shut B4 you turn the cold on. Then fill the system as you would any other open vented system IMHO. You do know how to do that yeh? 🙂
