Air in system

Got a job that since its been power flushed keeps getting air in 2 particular rads. It's a sealed system with a suprima he. It's also had a new 15/50 pump fitted.
I've been there several times since the power flush to get air out from the system but now it's getting tedious.
On my first visit the system was completely air locked up with no air vents on the system it took me ages to get it circulating. But it's been quite a few weeks now and were still getting air.

Any ideas?

My thoughts were to cut some Aav's into the pipe work but there really isn't much space to do this.

I don't like them personally but for me if it came to it I'd use auto air vents on the rads if possible.

Yeah I've had a look at them might be an idea to fit on the problem rads I'm thinking.

putting them in isn't going to resolve the issue of the air in the system ? just means having to keep topping it up

Fair point dancin.
But once it's gone it's gone, probably just trapped in a dodgy bit of pipework. Explain it to the cust and show/remind them how to fill the system, after all if you didn't first fix the system, it's not your problem.

Very true, however do you have any other ideas? I don't know if it's air still from when the PF was done or something is generating the air.

its probs gassing up has it got lots of inhibitor in it ? leaks ?

was wondering if there was any in at all ?? after pf lots of nice clean metal to corrode imo

The lad that normaly does the Pf is pretty thorough, so I'd say there is. I reckon it's still air from the pf just seems to be taking forever to get rid of. No leaks visible plus the pressure hasn't been dropping.

Is any of the pipe work surface? Is there a vent above the boiler? Ask the cust if the system is noisier anywhere? Any dodgy heating pipes in the loft from an old system?

No vents above boiler which is under the stairs, no pipes in lofts Elson tank in bathroom cupboard upstairs but f&e tank disconnected as converted to sealed system.

Please don't shout at my sugestion, but noticed Pump change, could it be cavitation from new pump (speed setting set too high)?

if its gassing Kamco can make you an inhibitor thats more suitable for this problem.

Any suggestion I'm grateful for pump speed is on 2, don't believe that to be the issue.

The Kamco info is pretty good tho.

i would say send a water sample off to kamco to have a look at then get a inhibitor made by them. They may even find a problem that you have missed from the water sample.

Can't you get the boiler to fire up on a low temperature ? Once it's done it's circle the air will come out.
