Hi, i am constantly having to bleed the first rad in my bungalow. no other rad has this problem in the house. what could be the possible causes of this, any hints would be greatly appreciated as ive been told that the problem lies in the boiler and i cant afford a new boiler.

It would be nuts to replace the boiler for this prob. find a suitable spot for an AAV
and sleep easy centralheatking

hi James, :welcome2: to the forum.
there will always be one radiator that catches any air in the system.
but is it air??
either there is a problem that means air is being pulled in because of pumping over, leaks, overflowing.
This will cause corrosion.
or the system is badly corroded and producing hydrogen gas, a simple test is to put a lighter under the bleed screw as you open it, if you get a blue flame shooting from the bleed screw then it is hydrogen and the system needs cleaning/flushing, and refilling with sufficient inhibitor.
