hello

i have 2 storey house with bathroom upstairs. when i flush the WC it takes ages to refill, unless i turn the cold tap of the WHB on and off briefly then the WC fills in a few seconds. any ideas on the cause and remedy?

moreover i have a power shower (hot&cold feed) which needs changing, even on the low setting it hardly lets the cold water out, i want to change the shower to an electric shower (cold fed only), but worried that the above issue would mean i would have no pressure.

any help would be grateful

thanks

Its likely that you have an air lock in the cold feed to the appliances, as it sounds like they are cistern feed. If however they are off the mains? Take the wc cistern ball valve out inspect/ repair or replace.
