Air pressure switch

Hi again

general question on an air pressure switch/fan operation

attended a course the other day, just reading through my notes but not sure if i've got this right

If the air pressure switch is stuck closed and you try to fire the boiler, the boiler will not run the fan as it has sensed that the switch has made before the fan has run.

is this correct??
