Bath of Wife

My wife prefers to bath rather than shower, and takes a bath at night. Our bath is on the first floor, but when she fills the bath there seems to be an airlock develop in our second floor en suite - shower, sink and toilet. Taps splutters, shower grumbles and toilet nearly explodes when flushed. This seems to be getting worse.
Any clues?

By the way, combi boiler, no water tank. It only seems to be the second floor that suffers (obviously the highest point for air to rise to) but I can't work out why running the bath off the combi system would trap air.

Confusing , when you say air lock , You mean
a) A problem getting water out of other fittings ?
b) A problem with draining away waste water from 2nd floor ( Drainage issue )

If the issue arises upstairs during the filling of the bath its due to insufficent flow and pressure from mains. In most situations your mains can only accomodate one set of taps fully, this is made worse if your pipework is run all over the place to your upstairs bathroom.
You would need a plumber to see if your pipework is run funny, or if your mains needs upsizing to increase flow

Thanks for the replies. I will check the water pressure and see if that helps, failing that get a plumber to give it the once-over.
Appreciate your advice.
