Alpha CB24 - Tepid Radiators

Any knowledge out there on radiators being tepid at best, pump is electrically & mechanically ok although flow through the radiators sounds non-existent even when valves are completely open.
H.W. is fine all the time.
When the boiler fires up, the heating flow pipe heats up significantly although never reaching even a local rad' beyond it's base.

Can not remember if there is a filter on the return on these boilers if not divertor valve is stuck on hot water mode

Cheers Mate, I'd been thinking a bit more about it since sending the thread and was beginning to think that way myself. We recently had the opposite problem - inconsistent hot water and ok rad' heating. The valve was the area worked on at that time. Thanks again.
