Just after a bit of technical advice on the alpha cb25.

one of my customers contacted with a boiler fault, the same fault is happening on both heating and hot water. when there is a demand on the heating side the boiler kicks in, fan and pump both seem to run fine, boiler then fires up for 1 or 2 seconds then shuts down boiler resets, does this again and continues to do this, giving no warning lights or fault codes.

spoke to alpha and them don't seem to know what is causing the problem, they pointed me towards the primary temperature sensor. failing that they said it could be gas valve or pcb?

anyone got any suggestions??

thankyou

Hi and welcome to the forum

I'm afraid that we can't discuss gas related issues on the open forum

If you are Gas Safe then get your post on here up to 10 and then p.m. gasman with your details and he can let you into the private gas safe section.
It's really easy to get your posts up just have a read of a few threads and post some comments you'll find the information here invaluable.
