Today I turned up at a job only to be told the gear hadn't turned up. That was 10am, it's now almost 11pm and I'm still in my work clothes. Been the pub and everything and now browsing this forum.

Anyone else live in their work gear or is it just me being a scruff?

used to be suit and tie for 20 years or so, now its rugby or T shirts and black jeans (as they dont look so dirty) most days come what may, means waking up is easier on sat n sun

I only have two sorts of clothes.

I have a suit, which I wear to weddings or funerals.

And clothes. Which I wear when not at weddings or funerals.

wife moans like mad when I sit on sofa after work, but isn't it a waste of time getting changed for 2 hours??

chap should really have wash when he gets home at 4ish, afterall you have 6 hours of tv or pubbing ahead of you 🙂 (wait for flaming bout working hours 🙂 )

I only need one pair of jeans now. That's for Sunday when I'm not working. Every other day is work clothes.

I am constantly working, if not at work then in my house so why get changed there's always a job to be done.

my wife was shocked the other day when I come down in some jeans and a jumper, she said i look very smart.

"i do try"

my kids also comment that my normal clothes look like my work clothes.

maybe there morphing into one who knows.

Summer is when you have the heating off Stan. Turn it up full blast in the winter and get stripped off.
