Hi, i'm looking into options for plumbing courses in Scotland and wondered if anyone had any experience with Trades Training that they could share with me.

Is this a reputable course?

Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I havent but am sure there will be a few who have , how much is it ? what do you get ? why do you want to do it ?

welcome to the forum too

Hi, thanks for your response.

I noticed that I messed up the URL, it should have been Trades Training School...

They are an Edinburgh based firm running 1-6 week courses in tiling and 1-2 week courses in plumbing ranging from £200 for 2 day course, right up to £2500 for combined plumbing and tiling courses. Best to check out their website for the full details.

Why do I want to do it? Primarily to give myself a new skills set. There is a chance I will be emmigrating to Canada in the next few years so I am looking to take some new, transferable skills with me to give myself the best possible chance of employment abroad. Also, as I am 30 years old, I don't think there is much chance of an apprenticeship at this stage, so a training centre looks to be the most viable option.

Would love to hear from anyone who has had any experience with this centre and would be able to provide some feedback.

Thanks again.
