apprenticeship needed in essex

i have started studying plumbing at college in september and i am enjoying it, i need an apprenticeship because it would be beneficial to me and it will provide me with more knowledge of the trade and improve my practical skills, my college tutor said that not to have an apprenticeship isn't vital at my level which is level 1, but as said previously i would like to have one so that i can improve on both my practical and theoretical skills, which would help me progress through the course, i would be grateful if anyone can give me more info on getting an apprenticeship within their company

It's no good posting on here, you need to write to local companies with your CV, you'll be lucky if you find anybody to take you in this economic climate though
