hi guys, can anyone help, my booster pump has started leaking (its an old one type 304de, so they no longer make parts for it),so I brought another one off ebay but the pump does not seem to work, is it possible to take my one apart and replace the part that is leaking, (it is the part which holds the 2 water spouts on the end) or will it have seals inside which will need replacing, the reason I am not buying a new one is because I am moving house very soon and just want a quick repair to see me through, thanks, any ideas or solutions would be gratefully appreciated, if it does indeed have seals can I make one out of rubber?

Hi carlbhoy,

As you have already bought the pump off ebay it has to be worth a try at building one working pump as a temporary measure. The trouble is that you could spend hours on it and still have two knackered pumps.

It's your call, but I would bite the bullet and fit a new pump rather than potentially waste a lot of time.
