I have a small business, but reaching my sell by date. As such wish to sell and support others who may be interest in opportunity.
Must be driven to earn, support clients, committed and UK based.
Having been a plumber for some 53 years i can say with confidence that the element of plumbing that i chose to major in, has been far more rewarding than plumbing and heating plastic world.

Here We Go.
Having work both London area and the country as a self employed plumber. Becoming a single parent family created problems working the 8 to 5 hours. After much thought, I decided to make sheet lead weathering products for builders, roofers etc. Working from a garage at our home. Allowing work to be undertaken at any time of the 24 hour cycle. With the introduction of the net, on-line trading became an option. An opportunity which I followed, providing plumbers work without the need to spend 3 to 4 hours a day driving a van and trying to park it. No bad debts, in fact getting payed up front. This operation can be moved any where in the UK. I have also developed a few item that have great potential to those with ambition, hard working, hand skills and wish to achieve their dreams. I am prepared to support / train persons wishing to embark on such an opportunity. If your interested enough you can contact me.

Good to hear from you again Peter. I hope you are in better health.

This is a good opportunity for someone with good lead skills but even if you haven't got them they can be learned pretty quick with a bit guidance

Thanks Tamz. You are totally right. In fact i made and sent a order to Scotland again this week.
Sheet lead vents for use of Lew's castle Stornoway (Which make me feel quite proud )

think we made the doors for that! have a spare one in my kitchen.lol
is it owned by the guy that owns jenners?

It's an art form, some people have it, others don't. A good opportunity for someone willing to learn and has the knack. It's a very rewarding feeling to know up a box gutter from a flat bit of lead sheet.

When are looking to sell up Peter?

Soon if i find the right person/s
However i intend to offer ongoing support and training when needed.

hope you get some one lead skills are ones we don't want too lose that said it wont be me sheet lead freezes in my small cold hands

I loved lead work at college. Never done it since which is a real shame.

Me too,Lead welding was difficult but once you got used to the OXY mix all was well, hated having too clean the lead strips first

Your showing your age guy's the lead is keeps dry and clean now so one can get away without the cleaning if from the roll.

I would love to work from home, wander out to the garage stick the radio on and work away, only problem is I was shocking at lead welding. I had to pinch a mates lead slate at college and pass it off as my own. The teacher did look at me a bit funny as I went from shocking to doing it perfect just like that.
