dunno why i bother to do repairs, spent all day trying to get the hot water working changed the plate ex checked the sensors, told by tech help there must be a blockage in the boiler so spent all afternoon with my flushing machine all to no avail , having to quote for a new unit tomoz. i dont get much pleasure when i cant sort the problem just get home totally knackered . 7 year old boiler going to the scrap yard on monday.

rant over

So you gave up without figuring it out?
yeah, there comes a cut off point when a customer starts thinking how much is this gonna cost and would i be better off putting the money towards a new boiler, given the fact that he has apparently had a few problems before. i would be quite happy to park up and keep going but when i land a piece of paper in his hand with maybe £400 plus written on the bottom line his blood pressure goes on the rise. Ariston tech guy was as about much use as a chocolate tea pot.
