need help pls

combi boiler is in kitchen , hot water ok at kitchen sink , but in bathroom goes hot and luke worm ! have turn all cold water taps to mixer and there is no cross flow ! dhw sensor 5k ohms resistant on normal ! diverter does not dump heat to to ch flow ! Me think to change plate h exchanger , ch is running absolutely ok ,
am i missing something ?

what model is it stan? and the 5k reading your getting would mean either the sensors shot or this is not a cold measurement

It is a 23 microgenise , non condenser ! Have ordered new sensors and plate h ex for tomorrow morning ! Will change sensors first , the p heat is at the back so need to get boiler of the wall to swap that !

Thad for the replay mate !

Hope you are keeping well in this weather !

does not need to come of the wall stan, the plate heat is easy to change in situ

Does sound like the phex ... Difficult to call when it's this cold though specialy with the being the 23kW .. Do you have a flow cup and thermometer Stan? Honestly a great investment for this time of year. If you know the boiler is doing what the mi's state they should then you haven't got an issue! If you can get hot water by cracking the flow rate down at the bath then it may just be down to cold water temp and the limits 23kW offer 🙂

Measured the cold today at a job and it's down to 6degC ... That means most combi's will be pumping out water you can hold your hand under ..... !

Just a thought!
