the facilities at atl are very good, training was excellent with faultless trainers.Paul brock is particularly good at passing on his knowledge. The little cafe on the site is very good, particularly the cakes! If you want any more info just ask especially directions (it's a bit out of the way)

Hi andymc,
I was at Southampton a week ago and I got b&b for £24.50 a night. It is basic and I mean basic. It is about 7 miles from the atl centre and near the train station so you are not far from the town centre. Drop me a pm and I will send you the address.

Hi Lucialia, I did two separate weeks at ATL Southampton last year, week one practical 6022 and week two practical 6032. Can you tell me what you were doing on your 2 week long practical has I still have this to come?
Couldn't agree more, Brocky has been in the trade for many years and certainly knows his stuff.🙂
The on site cafe ain't bad but I really should lay off the fry ups, a good place to get chatting with other trainees doing the next level on from yours. If you have a car you can get to Sainsbury's for sandwiches, drinks, hot or cold food, salads etc at Hedge End on the Tollbar way, Pizza's, KFC and Mac Do are also represented there. I use to buy milk at the supermarket for my own Tea in the morning on the way in, as the hot vending machine tea and coffee leave a lot to be desired. Take a cup, spoon and coffee or tea bags with you, there is hot water in the centre. A couple of the guys on my first practical had no steel toe capped boots on arrival an had to take a trip down to Wickes, over the road from Sainsbury's to buy some, they were back in 40 minute.

Ah! So I don't have this to come, already completed. I believe my next session will be the water reg's but having been transferred from PlumbingSkill to T4Ts in the summer this year, I now have to complete 24 modules before I can do another practical. Had my TMA5 marked on Monday, cracking on with module 6.

Just bumping this to bring all contributors to the attention of all the threads we have on our forums about Train 4 Trade Skills.
There have been A LOT of people who feel they have been missold courses by Train 4 Trade Skills. Many taking legal action.
