Guys , I have heard conflicting reports on the following , anybody know the correct way.
customer wants a combi, old back boiler in at present but guy wants to keep the fire , normally I have taken the lot out , whats the crack ?
thanks in advance

Can't find it, I have just recently read something regarding the decommissioning of back boilers while leaving the fire front working, I thought it must be a tech bulletin but can't find, because it was quite specific, I will keep looking.

There is one someone pointed me to ot but cant remember the number 15 maybe, think roughly the flow and returns stay left open gas to be permanently isolated from boiler side

We did some of these a few years ago, Remove B/B controls, cap gas to B/B Drill holes in Boiler unit any pipe work left
on boiler had to be left with open ends
