Bar Mixer Shower problems again!!!

so i contacted Bristan and they sent me a new Cartdridge for a shower i fitted 3 months ago that had pressure/noise issues
i fitted it for the customer a week ago and she has just called me again today to say she has no hot water pressure but cold is fine

the tank is on the same level as the shower could this be an issue?
if it is though how come it worked fine for 3 months before she got the problems ?

Airlock? Most bar showers aren't cracking for low pressure applications

Airlock or blocked filter? I'm gobsmacked it ever worked on a gravity system with any decent pressure at all.

Agreed these usually need to be on pressurised/fully pumped systems.

They have a bar shower in the other bedroom and that one works fine
they were in from the houses being built 5 years ago
not sure its an airlock but its got me baffeled !!!!!!!!!!

Was the old one thermostatic? I bet it wasn't. Seen this before. Been called in when the 'plumber' has swapped a non thermostatic shower for a thermostatic one and you could p quicker.

the bathroom didnt have a shower at all just a bath
the 3 bed house has 2 bathrooms and only 1 had a bar shower
