Bath taps

I have recently had a new acrylic bath fitted. The flow of water from the taps runs down the side of the bath instead of hitting the bottom of the bath directly. I'm concerned that this will eventually leave a stain on the bath. Is this acceptable, or should I complain.

You did get bath taps and not basin taps they can be shorter

there are bath taps like these,

then there are bath taps like these that cost 5 times more..., it all depends on what you pay for.

then there is the shape of the bath itself to take into account, is it sloping or vertical siding?.
