Hi, I've got a problem with this boiler it's about five years old and theres no hot water without the c/h on. Any suggestions on what could be the cause of this. Thanks Ross

call inqa plumber to look at your boiler, probably related to a diverter valve.

as old plumber says but probable diaprahm washer in diverter valve

Thanks for the advice, I've been and checked boiler out it does seem to be seal on hot water side of diverter valve. Are these seals replaceable if so what are they like to change and do you know the correct names for whatever I need to change. Thanks again Ross

yes they are replaceable, and cheap to buy [its called a dhw diaprahm]and easy to change knock off cold water into combi open all hot taps isolate electricity.remove microswitch remove screws undo hydrolic pipe carefully remove front dhw brass plate[caution dont lose spring and needle and observe correct assembly]also dont let any water into pcb reassemble, close hot taps and turn supplys back on test and look for leaks if your unsure read manufactors instructions[baxi send these out free if you have lost yours] or call a engineer

when you have water on your pcb its then cheaper to call in an engineer who knows how to repair a boiler, get it wrong and your bill will go from £6 for parts to £250 plus, I dont believe people should try diy on boilers really.

Sorry, I'm not diy'er, Just a Renewable Installer but don't do a lot with combi's.
I've got parts just going out to do it now, I'll let you know how I get on.
Thanks

Hi, Just letting you know job done, a doddle £10 for parts £30 for labour job done in 15 mins and very happy customer. Thanks for all advice.
