Good Evening all,

I have a Baxi 105e. 17 yrs old. Few problems if any one can help.

1, The guage on the front of the boiler sits at '0' but when the heating gets up to temperature it sits at 1 to 2 bar.
Why is the boiler still firing up when the guage reads 0??

2, When I run the hot water the radiators are getting hot. Why are they?

3, I would like to fit a scale reducer......Which one shall I fit?

Thanks for your help.

If pressure rising from zero, you have an expansion issue (needs a gas safe qualified engineer). Rads hot when hot water ran, usually a diversion problem (may need a gas safe qualified engineer), and not sure on scale reducer.

Meant to say on scale reducers, I don’t or haven’t fitted any.
