Hello all.

I have a BoilerMag 22mm connected to a Baxi Boiler.

The BoilerMag has been leaking since we bought the house. So wise old me decided I should service it, as i was told that cleaning the gunk off and retightening could stop the leak. Having found no gunk whatsoever and putting the boiler mag back on it is now leaking far more than before: The drip has turned into a steady pour.

My question is can i isolate the Boiler Mag and still run the heating? (I fear I may be asking a very stupid question here)

If that is not the case, any ideas on how to stop this, as the mercury is really dipping this evening. =(

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

NB will attach pictures as soon as my phone has enough battery to take them in the dark.

lube up the o-ring
I have never fitted a boiler mag but assume them are similar to other makes

Thats a really good point: I didn't see any o-rings. Off to wickes i go!

if anyone has any information regarding the isolation question aswell that'd be great.
Thanks!

No you can't isolate and have heating sorry (as its on the return to the boiler)
