i take it on the combi, to top the syestm back up its the black qauter turn valve on the retun at base of boiler.

basic question i know but it was the fact that all the connections on the boiler have black 1/4 turn valves on exept the gas that threw me😕

No,on the baxi the boiler isolation valves are black levers
You should be looking for the filling loop,this is the silver briaded hose that runs for the cold main pipe (second pipe on right) to the larger heating pipe,on cold mains pipe will have valve operated by black handle/lever or screwdriver slot

yes i looked for the braided filling loop it hasnt got one and couldnt see any connection to fit one either

Believe you could get a built in filling loop that fitted under side of boiler ,coming out back of cold main boiler isolation and ran round in small bore copper to back of the flow boiler isolation valve
