Afternoon chaps. Just been to above boiler. E133 fault code. No spark electrodes ok

300v dc to ignition unit. Baxi say should only be 180vdc so recommend new pcb and ignition unit as 300v has probably fried it

Not come across thia before. Anyone seen this?

I've had ignitor issues before, but they usually stop sparking completely. Can you see a spark? Have you checked the inlet pressure when it goes through ignition? Does the gas valve open? Check the tube going from the gas valve through the case on to the fan is free from kinks and is in good condition. Check the ignition lead. Is the flame rectification probe ok?

It's sorted now. New pcb and igniter.

There was No spark. Gas valve was opening. Old PCB sending too much voltage to igniter.

Thanks

Silly one but just make sure there is gas . I had one 133 fault recently and the custard had ran outa gas on her pre pay meter. Other than that check spark lead and check if gas valve is opening / energising ... check pins on gas valve connection at the pcb . X3 pins 1n2 240v . Check harness / lead is OK .
