I have a Baxi 105 HE and it was installed Feb 2007. So far trouble free until now. It was working fine one minute and the next just went off and stopped working. I checked the fuse and used a multimeter and there is power to the unit but there is no mains power light on the unit. Looking at the manual/trouble shooting guide, it suggests the main selector switch or PCB. If I bought these parts myself and did it the cost would be about £110 but don't want to waste time and money if there maybe another problem. Does anyone have any other ideas what could be the problem or can anyone confirm my thinking?
Any help appreciated as I have no boiler insurance so will be a hefty call out if I go down that route.
Thanks in advance......

Well it does sound like the PCB if there is power to the board. Have you checked the small fuse on the board to make sure that has not blown?

cheapest option is to get british gas out for a fixed price job ,I think its around £170

The last I heard BG were only looking after there existing customers on schemes due to the high demand.

Mark it would be wise (and legal) to call a qualified bloke out, there is more than just changing a pcb. If you think it is a switch then link it out or measure resistance across it
