did combi appreciation and boiler diagnostics at warwick i no very little about the inside of a boiler and i would say for the unenlightened they were fantastic courses Combi app day is very full on as theres a lot to get thru but the guy taking the course graham collins was great luckily we didnt have the token idiot whose got to tell you his storys and graham was knowledgable and concise shame baxi arnt paying me but i speak as i find

good to hear feedback from courses like this. I have been looking at doing a couple of manufactures courses and i think the baxi ones look very good.

thanks 🙂

Attended Ariston, Glow Worm and Ideal. All pretty much the same thing, but plug their own appliances (obviously).

Baxi sounds like a good training session.

Ideal factory in Hull does free breakfast and lunch (for course attendees) from their on site cafe called, wait for it Eat Exchanger.

I went on the Baxi Duo Tec course. Great day, told us some good stuff about the boiler and testing parts, which is fairly generic to any boiler. They didn't keep drumming in to your head about there products being the best either. They're realistic. I recommend them.

Worcester was quite good, but they didn't do the same kind of training as Baxi. The guy was constantly banging on about how Worcester were the best thing since sliced bread. Before then going on to say they were planning on bringing out a new range and changing the location of the prv. Hmmm, poor design? The best? Hmm?

Been on Bxi duotec and was impressed, was free aswell !

Went or a free Worcester one other week, was pretty good they gave you like a bank card you can plug connections off the board in to test with yer multi meter

Also, went on a Ravenheat course month or 2 ago, not bad either

ive generally found all training courses to be of some benefit, some more than others, but if you go in with the right attitude of thinking you will learn stuff you usually do, ive been on some courses where some guys are too negative and think they know everything (you would wonder why they were there in the firsst place)

i think every training course is some use as you always come out with something years ago i did the saunier duval 620 one and the one thing i learnt was how to change the diaphram and the front section that alone earnt me plenty over the next 10 years
like kirk ive been on courses where several of the others were from one company, didnt realy want to be there and ruined the day for every one
