I use a company called wunder floor, pipes the same as uponor but their systems are a lot cheaper than uponor.

I've heard of 3 systems not working after a few years - probably down to poor installation in my opinion.

Secondly, electric isn't that expensive to run and it's easy peasy to install (and thus much cheaper on the labour rate) and does not cost a huge amount to purchase the parts.

I know I'm a plumber and should be promoting plumbed underfloor heating, but I've laid a few electric systems (with electrician to wire up) and never been called back.

electric in existing bathrooms perhaps but wet is the way to go in full house installs, new builds etc etc.
