I wonder if anyone can tell me if there is a sequence to bleed radiators, as i have trapped air in the upstairs, At the moment all upstair radiators don't seem to be heating to max, whilst the downstairs are. I have opened the bleed screws to the rads upstairs and the air starts to release, but unlike the downstairs they don't release all the air. Do i have to close valves on other rads then bleed the last in line or ????.
I have a Worcester Combi Boiler with 3 rads down stairs, 3 rads upstairs..

Thanks..

Best to turn boiler off electrically while you do above and turn back on once all topped up and vented ok

Thanks guys. Just one question all seems to be ok with the exception when heating the system the pressure bar is showing 2.0 is this exceptable ?. Or do i have to release some pressure.

Thankyou Simon, very grateful for your help. just one last question, is there a danger point on the gauge, if so is there a way of releasing pressure, just so i know for the future if called upon.

If you did over fill during top up,just get an old towel and let out excess through a vent on a radiator

Thanks All for the help. all is running spot on now.
Happy new Year to you all.
Regards
