Would this cause a boiler to cut off after about 5 minutes of it being on? Or would it not fire at all if the condensate was blocked? Have this problem with a greenstar 28. Pump is ok and done the usual checks and unsure what is wrong.

It can do mate. I had one today with intermittant lock out, the condense trap was blocked solid. It wasn't doing the FGA reading any good either. It was a baxi though, so I'd expect nothing less from these heaps of junk 🙂

A solo :-( only 3 years old.

Im im going back tomorrow because the manifolds are leaking and the FGA is still quite higher than I'd like.

Im going to change the crappy red seals in the manifold and remove the heat exchanger and give it a good clean and change the seals on the combustion chamber and flue.

It certainly could cause this problem. Could do with knowing what the blue light is doing though, if it's ignition lock out then you could well be barking up the right tree. You'll usually see signs inside the boiler and the customer complaining of explosive ignition and boiler sounding like a washing machine.

Just ID a 2009 duo 40kw. Condensate been leaking through sight glass and door seal, inside looked like a festival toilet. Being maintained by a large group of car mechanics who now do gas.

The nuggets :-
Adjusted co as too high

Then replaced gas valve

Ncs the flue for being too steep and the conny for external 500m run but neglected to open burner door on all 11 visits in 12 months. Training goes a long way ....
Also replaced diverter stripped hex and recommended a chemical flush..... To shift the lime scale on DHW side of the plate! Doh
