Hello I've just moved into a property which has a gas ideal boiler in the kitchen and a hot water tank and honey well 3 slider panel in the airing cupboard I have heating set on twice but hot water is set to off as I have hot water 24/7 already even with this set to off .I'm assuming it's the boiler giving me hot water all day long would this be the result in me going through gas like there's no tomorrow..which is what's happening..I only want to have hot water only at set times.i done need it 24/7
Any advise would be much appreciated thanks

You either have a faulty programmer or diverter valve (Silver box) check on side of box to see if a very small leaver has been locked in position, Neither is something that you can replace yourself, but should only take about 1hr to replace
