Hello all,

I am a newbie in this forum and would greatly appreciate guidance on my question below.

I have a choice of carrying out a minor repair on my 20 year old 20k btu Baxi
gas system boiler, or replacing it with a new higher efficiency one.

What sort of level of saving is reliably achieved on the gas used? this boiler is the sole source of hot water in summer, and in winter is used morning and evening to drive the central heating together with a Rayburn (that is on anyway in winter) feeding the HW and CH circuit through a neutraliser

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Regards

andy

PS - I'd like to keep the Rayburn and Neutraliser in the circuit as well if possible since |I replaced the neutraliser just a year ago!

System - is gravity fed Rayburn to neutraliser, gravity HW indirect cylinder, pumped Chtg and pumped boiler since boiler is above neutraliser.
