Hi folks
Just finished new extension and added 4 rads. Used the Stelrad thingy to calculate BTUs and my existing boiler seemed to have enough capacity to cope. The rads seem hot and the house is not too cold (-15 outside!). Does this mean everything is ok or is there a way of a final check with boiler cycle times? It runs for a long time when first firing in the morning but once house is heated up it cuts in and out roughly 50/50.
Anybody know if there is a practical method of calculating that the boiler is running within capacity?
