Boiler wiring!

I have been installing boilers for a couple of years, but really struggle to get my head around the wiring. Does any one have any books they recommend or techniques they used when learning. I am going to do my part p, but want a good kickstart.

Google "honeywell wiring guide" I think issue 16 is the latest, good info and details of their courses at £30 are good value
