Pricing a boiler change for a combi-combi. The property has solar thermal to pre-heat the domestic supply to the boiler. Is there any boilers to avoid using that cant have this kind of pre-heat?

Check with the manufacturers before you quote. I know that Atag and Intergas can use pre heated hot water.

Usually quote with Vaillant Pro28's or Potterton Heatmax. Just wondering if anyone had any info before I start making calls and being on hold for a long time!! :-(

Just use the contact us option and e-mail them the query. Saves hanging about on the phone.

Vaillant and Potterton both said yes. As long as the inlet to the boiler is 30 degree's or below. So the job needs the upgraded blending valve from the solar manufacturer at the cost of £295 + VAT + £20 postage....... Bargains bargains!
