Boxing in a combi......

Heard a few people say you cant box in a boiler,i been asked to this for someone,i am a little sceptical about boxing in boiler,but i sure you can do it if you follow the regs,will look into it,just seeing what comments will arise,personally i think you can do it as long as there is room around the boiler,do you also need to fit a vent some-where ???? ....the woman been quoted £400 for this job,yeah thats £400 !!!!! and before some-one says look thru your books,i got sore eyes ok ! lol............

As gas man said, check the manufacturers instructions for that particular boilers clearances and ventillation requirements.

If she doesn't want the job for £400 then thats fine, she can go somewhere else.

I don't understand why people get shocked by high quotes, thats all it is a quote. Maybe he just didn't want the job and put it in, if he gets it he's on a winner!

Get a few more quotes, its easy.
