Boxing pipes after new boiler installation

Hi,

I had a Vaillant ecotec plus 418 fitted a few months back. I have finally got round to repairing the boxing for the flow and return pipes and wondering if there are any restrictions as to how close to the flue the boxing can be. The screws are accessible so it can be maintained. I have attached the new part to the old and attached a photo of it. I would be grateful for any comments before I tape and plaster it.
