Hello,

I have a Bristan Prism Basin mIxer (flush with the wall type) Problem (as the wife doesn't like something) the chrome spout is slightly too long. I have been racking my brains to find and alternative. The projection form the wall is 150mm and needs to be about 100-110mm max . It is decanting into a small profile cloakroom style basin and whilst usable would probably look better shorter. I have been round in cirles trying to find something suitable. Even the connector to the body of the mixer valve is not standard. It has a captive nut to attach to mixer body allowing easy adjustment of the vertical water flow. The diameter of the pout is 32mm and I have though of getting it engineered (cutting a section out) as any solder weld braising would be behind the faceplate and not seen..

I am looking for advice support in this quest. I would consider re-engineer at a suitable works location is RG10 9pX

Thanks for being patient first post - I feel like sound the last post!!

Regards

cant you get a bigger basin?

thanks for the response the downstairs is a corridor style cloakroom there is no option for a deeper basin or corner.

I have considered a mixer tap on the single tap hole corner of the basin but plumbing works would be on show underneath . Perhaps I am being too picky

Regards
