The pipe carrying waste water from my kitchen sink has been broken on the exterior of the house with only 1c.m or so showing. I've attached a pipe to the broken pipe temporarily so as to carry the waste to the drain but, of course, it keeps falling off as there's no purchase.

Fact is I need to remove the pipe that's sticking out of the wall. How on earth do I get a plastic pipe out of a breeze block and rendered wall?

Any help much appreciated!

chop round each end with an old screw driver and use a hammer to ease out then put a coupling either end and then your sorted failing that drill a knew 1 out !

hey moggs, establish which make of pipe it is and size, go buy a metre. disconnect your old pipe, both sizes of wall, "gently" "thump" the old pipe with a hammer, until it gives a little in the right direction.( a small noggin of wood on the end of pipe will stop it shattering.) when your pipe is close to the wall, use the new replacement pipe instead of the wood noggin, and it should follow the old pipe through the wall!!
both end of the new pipe will have to be cut off and filed before you remake any joints.

alternativly cheat. instead of using the inch and a half pipe, cut it off flush with wall both sides, shove a new piece of inch and a quarter through it, use this as your new pipe, you will have to use a mcalpine reducing washer when connecting to your trap.

good luck
