i have my ways of viewing it for free

But to be honest its a load of blah blah blah

I tried to look at whether is was standard to fit isolation valves to all outlets for servicing etc

I am still unsure after reading it as its all mumbo jumbo and can be taken to mean different things if you get me

Alright plumbstar tom yeh m8 im just about to finish my course by commisioning my own bathroom and the bs6700 staes that all pipe work incl w.c basin. and bath all have isolation valves fitted as standard. Hope this helps.🙄🙄

I haven't recently . But!!! i do have all the part building reg docs and only on wednesday i sat my hot water exam and monday i sat my cold water exam and today i sat my above/below ground drainage exam so i dont kjnow but i only go on the fact my tutors are telling me isolation valves on the lot.

I guessed that

If you can try one of the downloads or see if a tutor has a copy

There is a big difference between BS standards, building regs, manufacturers instructions, industry standards, cowboys tricks and of course what your tutors teaches

Often they can only teach you to pass an exam and then as a bonus teach you some tricks of the trade or industry standards that they follow

It makes me smile to think that an approved standard they want everybody to follow, costs so much to buy. No wonder people get things wrong.

£218 for BS6700 Outrageous as normal. we are expected to follow them and they price us out. Folllow WRAS book and G3 building regs.
